Long fangs with 5 Multi-meltas droppoded in with Logan,

Saga of the wolfkin lord with thunderwolf with 3 full packs of wolves, hello I5 wolves

3 long fang packs with a cyclone missile launcher termi wolfguard in each pack, 21 rockets per turn :)

D'oh.

Jeez, Mage... maybe that ork from the other thread fleeced you worse than I thought; you're obviously still reeling from it!

Maybe you'd better sit down and have another tankard or two...on second thought, maybe you've had too much already.

Can't get you old timers to slow down, can we? ;)

Back to the topic at hand, though...

About the cheesiest, and one of the funn(i)est, things I've done is run a 3x Land Raider Redeemer setup all loaded with 11-man BC squads+WG. Just rush the LRRs up and it's burny-choppy time. Fun, fun.

My current list might be cheesy but then again, who knows.

Four Las/Plas Razorbacks isn't too bad is it? Here's the force

WP: RA, WTN - 130

Bjorn: PC - 270

Dread: PC, DCCW, WTN, EA - 140

Dread x 2: TLLC, ML - 145 x 2

BC's: Fist, Rhino, EA - 195

GH's x 3: Fist, MG, Las/Plas Razorback, EA - 210 x 3

LS x 2: MM - 60 x 2

LF's: 3 ML, 2 LC, Las/Plas Razorback, EA - 250

2000 pts

Logan and 5 Multimelta Longfangs in Drop pod.

10 Wolfguard with Combi Plasma in Rhino w/extra Stormbolter.

10 Wolfguard with Combi Plasma in Rhino w/extra Stormbolter.

1000 points.

It was a random Idea I had, about the most damage a person could inflict in one turn at a low point game. The Rhinos are deployed as far forward as possible, move their 12 inches towards any troops,or towards any transports that are available as targets, the Wolfguard pile out. The Drop pod long fangs drop in,blast the transports or any tanks that are on the board. at 1000 points there isnt very likely to be many targets for them. The Wolfguard then Rapidfire 20 plasma shots each into two squads of troops. At this point, more then likely you will have killed off a very large portion of their army.

I went through a phase where I quite enjoyed using:

Ragnar

Wolf Priest

5 x TDA with pair of Wolf Claws and meltabombs

1 x TDA with AC and CF

LR Redeemer

With Insane Bravado, Furious Charge and re-rolled hits and wounds there's not a lot that can survive a charge from this lot!

1600 points against tau

I had my Blood claws squad in a Rhino with Lukas and Wolf Guard with twin wolf claws,

First turn is my opponants he destroys the rhino, My guys glimb out un injured and not pinned

my first turn they charge foreward kill 2 of a 3 man stealth team then take out the last one in combat

His second kills 5 of the squad, Morale fine

my second turn charge foreward more then run

his third kill all but lukas

my third Lukas charges into cover kills a full firewarrior squad and attached Battlesuit then Consolidates towards the objective

My Rune Priest had a moment that earned him the eternal wrath of one of my regular opponents when he Jaws of the World Wolf'd down a Nob Biker and the squad's Painboy (who I hadn't been targetting, and hit by sheer luck), and then, after recieving a charge from his Warboss, proceeded to Force Weapon him to death before being run over by the remaining 6 or so Nobs. This incident, which assuredly won an otherwise extremely uphill 1,000 point battle for me, actually caused said opponent to drop Orks in favor of Blood Angels so that he'd never have to deal with JotWW again. It almost makes up for the two games running where my Rune Priest has gibbed himself with Perils of the Warp by the second turn without doing anything...

I'm lucky not to play in an overly cheesy metagame, though, so I don't feel too break out the havarti myself...

It was just after the blood angels came out, my local decided to run a random game, told everyone in the store to take out one troops choice and a hero.

I was currently doing the details on my logan and terminators.

They never let me do that again.

whats the cheese thing you have done, me i thinking about having 3 long fang packs with 5 rockets in each os thats 15 rockets a turn. :)

or have a wolfwing army with 4 landraiders and 15 temms at 2000 points.

pfff people dont know what cheeez is. it is 2ed and the SW dex is fresh . 20 WG all armed with a cyclon and AC on overwatch . 20x3" high str template and 20x3x4 sustained dice[from 1 to 3 + jam each] and AC back then were high str too. the WG battle leader had AP ammo what with AC being str8[or was it 9] gave them +d20 on armor penetration . Whole armies could be wiped auto in a single turn.

In an Apocalypse Multi-player battle I put up 2,000 of Lone Wolves.

Some with TDA, WC, WC, others with TDA TH,SS or CF, SS and around 15 with just MoTW.

But ALL had x2 Fenrisian wolves to back them.

I chose Flank march and Tunnels for my traits.

On a side note, a single lone wolf almost killed a nightbringer on one side of the table and another

almost killed a Deceiver.

Well well..in an Apo game I used "Njal's Rune Council"...basically him and 5 Rune Priests all wielding JotWW in a Redeemer.......they whiped out half a daemon army on their own in one turn of casting...the story still goes around in my store everytime someone brags about their daemons.

*chuckles* Stop reminding me of the real cheese days Jeske. Back when you could have 20 wolfguard in a single squad, they could all have terminator armor or heavy weapons. And god I miss overwatch...That was the one thing they took out from then to now that I really do think is silly. For those that don't know what the heck me and Jeske are talking about..Overwatch used to be a method that you could use to shoot in your opponents turn. Basically say for instance "This squad is going into overwatch,It will fire on the first enemy unit to come into line of sight" Then if your opponent moved his unit into line of sight, your boys lit them up like a christmas tree.

and dont forget the strategy cards that let you shot with one unit before the battle .

you write lists , your IG/Nid friends brings his 200 metal models[yes 200 metal guants] deployment is around 20-30 min [+ seting up the table] . drive is around and hour , he wins first turn , but before he doesnt anything .... you do swosh and kill 99% of his whole army[even with each model being under 2 str 9 templates sometimes you will roll double 1s so something may live].

And let us not forget the oh so "loved" by everyone Iron Priest standing in front of the whole army with a power generator[+2 inv] and a wolf pelt [-1 to BS for range 12" -2 for 24" -3 for more then 24 etc etc] maximum range [aka WG stands at the very end of the table] for the army and suddenly they cant hit a darn thing [because he is the model in the unit] .

Good times.
