Sons of Erebor
Just a comment, and I'm by no means a 40k/DIY expert, but I think that basing the chapter on a planet with the same name of another already established GW planet isn't allowed, maybe try something with a similar name to something of Norse mythology? Just my two cents Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203798-guardians-of-valhalla-ia/#findComment-2429791 Share on other sites

Just my two cents well i kind of need it to be valhalla in order to keep all the fluff and units i've made. maybe i could have them on jucha but they refer to the planet as valhalla. Ferrus Manus
The easiest thing to do would be to change the planet to something like Valhalla Delta. Heart of Oak
The easiest thing to do would be to change the planet to something like Valhalla Delta. As Ferrus Manus points out you can still have the name you want, as long as you change it a little. A historical example of this is the York / New York scenario, where towns in new colonies were given the same (or slightly changed by the use of New) name as an existing town in the colonists country, so you could call it: Valhalla Delta Valhalla II New Valhalla Locally the planet could just be known as Valhalla while having its Sunday name for galactic maps, wider use etc. - though just straight up giving it exactly the same name with no qualification ('New', II, 'Delta') would be a bit bogus. shan vener
hey guys i had an idea that i'm not sure will work or not. do you think that I could have them be close allies to the legion of the damned? relise that i'm actually writing my own codex for these guys and i want them to be unique so I thought about making LOTD troop choices. Jarl Bloodwolf
hey guys i had an idea that i'm not sure will work or not. do you think that I could have them be close allies to the legion of the damned? relise that i'm actually writing my own codex for these guys and i want them to be unique so I thought about making LOTD troop choices. I'm not sure how that would work. Just because the Legion of The Damned are like ghosts. They appear in the direst of circumstances, save the day and then dissapear emediatly afterwords. I can't see how a chapter would have a strong alliance with thim as they are never around long enough to talk to after a battle has been won, so personally I can't see it happening Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203798-guardians-of-valhalla-ia/#findComment-2432544 Share on other sites
