daboarder
Hey guys here is my WIP librarian dread, I've been wroking on it on and off for a while and the hardest part was getting a feel for how I wanted the force weapon to look. I'm plpeased with the outcome but at the moment there is still plenty to do. http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/001-7.jpg http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/002-7.jpg http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/003-7.jpg http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/004-9.jpg most of the work left invovles the addition of cabling and piston work. Quick question, can a librarian furioso be given a heavy flamer in place of his storm bolter, and can a librariab dreadnought shoot a weapon and cast a psychic power in the same shooting phase? Descendant of Dante
I really like that pose on the last picture. That model makes for a good Libby, though being metal takes alot of patience. Well Done. What are your thoughts for the spaces between the arms? There looks to be alot of space between where they connect.
daboarder
I'll be doing some pistons in the gaps, the arms are just attached to check the pinning placement and pose.

stinkenheim
walkers are able to shoot all of their weapons in a single turn. he would only be able to cast one psychic shooting attack, but it wouldn't prevent him from firing additional weapons if he had any. looks nice there dude, not sure about the thin join on the force weapon but its nicely posed, especially like the hand. daboarder
I know what you mean about the join but there is a reason behind the descision, If you look at the joints on the DCCW of other dreads you will see that the actual axel/joint part is actually quite small the main mass of the arm comes from the fist (lacking here) and the various pistons and cabling that runs along it. In these photos those later additions are yet to be added however tonight if I get the study I need to done then I want too do most of the piston work leaving only the cabling to add. As for the weapon, I wanted it to look like the Librarians Forceweapon had been added to the dreadnought as I figured its likely to be something the librarian is specifically tuned too, the alternative weapons were a halberd top or a lochaber style axe head, Im till not sure which of the 3 I prefer but they are all solid choices. finally the removal of the head was a bit of a pain and I think I'll simply be removing the cabling section thats left an just rebuilding a Psychic hood and head from scratch.
