qwerty1.0
I have a grey knight that got a bent power sword, and would like to know how to get it fixed nicely. I don't want to have it plucked off like the one I did with a poor grey knights Halberd. DapperDave
Heat the pewter with boiling water (submerge for a minute or two) - it should become fairly pliable. Be careful of 2 things though, 1) don't burn yourself with the water 2)don't mar the surface of the sword - if you use pliers or something similar, pad it with a bit of paper towel. Hope that helps. Hemal
Try not to bend it sharply - slowly teasing it back in shape will be more than sufficient as the metal is very soft. Heating is quote a good idea, but as stated, burning risk and damage to the mini are issues Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203852-fixing-bent-swords-carefully/#findComment-2431330 Share on other sites
qwerty1.0
Thanks for the suggestions brothers, been having second thoughts on dipping a fully painted grey knight! But instead tried warm water and dipped it in, worked great!
