Titan87
So I'm trying to decide on a paint scheme for my DIY chapter the Iron Archons. Chapter Symbol: Robed Angel with sword stabbed downward through a through a planet. Chapter Ideals: close combat focus, Crusading chapter. Chapter is focused on the eradication of the Imperium's enemies for the good of mankind as a whole. They will avoid human casualties if possible, but will not think twice about sacrificing a portion to save the whole. Favor a mobile mechanized and deep striking style of warfare. So without further ado... Paint Scheme 1 Paint Scheme 2 Which one is your favorite? any advice would be appreciated as well. Lone Scout
I like the first on too. Now if you are thinking "sweet me too" than all is well If you are thinking "really I thought the other one was better" than you better go with the second. Ace Debonair
The first colour scheme is much, much better. The black on the second one is as dark and empty as a vacuum, which frankly doesn't look very good. :) And anyway, there's enough black/mostly-black chapters out there by now. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203912-paint-scheme-help/#findComment-2431624 Share on other sites
Heart of Oak
The first colour scheme is so sweet that I considered for a moment talking you into the second scheme, so that I could use the first scheme myself. :P Seriously though, the first scheme is the best. Saric
First scheme is way better in my opinion the second one looks like a solid mass of black so you can't really see the edges of the armor. Titan87
Thanks for all the help everyone, my favorite was the first one as well. I liked the black, but the blue and silver is just so clean.
