Obliterator
Great looking drop pods, I'm really liking that lava idea, especially on those parts of the pod. Bannus
Great looking drop pods, I'm really liking that lava idea, especially on those parts of the pod. That is what I thought..... ...then I looked at the next one. I really like them both. Hard to say which I like better. Garden Ninja
Well, Salamanders are a pretty sweet force to paint. There's also a lot you can do to convert them up nice. Also, thanks. Shadow Nugz
Next up from Garden Ninja: Lava Land Raider!! Very nicely executed lava effect. I tried not too long ago and got something similar... just crappier. Raye
Nice job on the flames/lava effects! Adds a little something to the drop pod model, can look a little plain sometimes! Garden Ninja
Nice job on the flames/lava effects! Adds a little something to the drop pod model, can look a little plain sometimes! Yeah, the Drop pod minis have all of that room, and it is so easy to just leave it all be. Although, that's true of a lot of tanks. The easier solution (to doing a bunch of freehand) is to block out the mini in such a way as to break up the monotony a bit. Marking out an area in black here, silver there can make a big difference. paintner
looking good =) is the ninja for size comparison? :P he sits so perfectly down there so it looks like a comparison model =p (and I know it's a watermark before someone who don´t understand a joke points it out and call me an idiot) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203941-salamanders-drop-pods/#findComment-2446889 Share on other sites
