Pope
Hail, brothers, I've long stalked the halls of our mighty Fang, learning, and growing. Finally after years of adoration for the Space Wolves, and the WH40k universe in general, I've begun to take the plunge into the table top. Attached are the first 5 Wolves I've painted and put together. C and C, and any tips or suggestions as to what direction I should lead my pack are welcome. Stormshrug
I'm a pretty mediocre painter myself, so I can't offer much in the way of tips. The only thing that pops to mind is basing. I myself rarely do nice bases, but whenever I do, I like the results. Even fairly simple stuff works well here. As to the models themselves, for your first SW models, these look very good. I like the poses - dynamic and ready to strike, but it isn't overstated. -Stormshrug Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203948-my-first-wolves/#findComment-2431603 Share on other sites
Black2Jack1
Well done! I like the dark eyes, I wish I could get around to painting my army. I just can't stop buying more and more. Skirax
If you want a decent icy but rocky base, get the generic sand, sprinkle it over the base sparingly, and paint it black. wait till it's dry, then drybrush it white. Works a treat! :D One thing that stands out for me, is that the fur looks like it would be textured for fur. Great job! :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203948-my-first-wolves/#findComment-2431825 Share on other sites
