Meatman
Did a search, couldn't find anything, if someone can find one and point me in the right direction it will be much appreciated :verymad: Basically, where can I find thunder-hammers that fit power armored marines? Preferably plastic. Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204075-power-armour-thunderhammers/ Share on other sites
Durus
These are the hammers that come with the Iron Hands squad. If you want plastic you might have to use the terminator ones or convert your own. +edit+ I completely forgot about the new Space Wolves. There is a hammer with wolf iconography in the new box. Arikel
Death Company box also includes a nifty thunder hammer and Maxminis also has some t-hammer conversion bits ( http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php?main...;products_id=84 ) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204075-power-armour-thunderhammers/#findComment-2433321 Share on other sites
BladeEncarmine
In terms of plastic Thunderhammers, there are 3 options as far as I'm aware. One: Plastic Termi hammers, which is probably the common one to use, as you'd have to chop the arm off generally at the elbo to use it properly on a PA marine. Two: Blood Angels Death Company bok has a two-handed hammer. It's great for a charging pose and has very little iconography to shave off (if you're so inclined), but for a static pose, it's perhaps odd seeing a guy with a two-handed hammer standing at rest looking like he wants to piledrive someone into the dust. Three: The PA Space Wolf box comes with 2 single-handed hammers. They're fantastic hammers, but if you're looking to shave off iconography, you're almost out of luck unless you sculpt greenstuff over them, as they are absolutely covered in wolfyness. The "rear" of the heam is actually a sculpted snarling wolf. Very awesome, but stupid hard to get rid of for non Wolf players. Hope that helps. WarriorFish
I've just converted a TH for my Assault Sergeant. Using the SW one handed TH I did a simple chop and replace with the hammer from the Assault Terminator box. I sawed it just under the "vent" looking bit (the bit that sticks out from the shaft) as that was the easiest place to cut and line it up again without getting too close to details/fiddly places. Looks perfect and with minimal effort ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204075-power-armour-thunderhammers/#findComment-2436590 Share on other sites
