kiwitexansfan Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 I have a lovely new Legion of the Damned squad, (Plasma Pistol/Power Weapon, Flamer, Multi-Melta) and have been thinking about running them with a TDA Chaplain for the extra power weapon attacks and the rerolls in the first round. However, I first assumed that I could join them because they were both deepstriking units and you can add independent characters before deployment, but with the LotD special rules is this possible? Do I have to give up their special scatter rule, or do I have to deploy them as seperate units and then hope I can run them into coherency? Grey Mage Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 As long as the IC can DS aswell there is nothing stopping you from joining them, but no you would not be able to use aid unlooked for with the IC present, as its a special rule that doesnt state it affects him.
