This is posted up in OI also, but I figured to get more suggestions and criticism from a more varied audience this would be appropriate.

 

I'll try to complete a new unit every week or two (but how often will I meet that goal?) :(

 

Let me know what you think, especially if you have helpful criticism. Any time you think "you know what would be cool/better/not ugly as hell?" I want to hear it!

 

 

Let's start off with a shot of the army as a whole so far. You'll see that the ratio of special troops like Veteran Superiors to normal Battle Sisters is way off. They're just so much more fun to paint :lol:.

They look very nice. The purple robes look really good with the white and gold armor. I especially like the Superior with the shield and the multimelta. Also lovely Canoness model the wings make it look like a saint.

Very nice looking army, the conversions are simply amazing, as is the color scheme.

I'm really liking the white. It is very clean and crisp, as is the gold corsets, isn't that odd? two colors you pull off amazingly are the two colors I can't do anything worth jack with. :rolleyes: I think you stole my skill.

Nicely done. Good color choices, and crisply applied.

Not a huge fan of the multimelta, but that's just personal style.

What is the shield on the first superior made from? Can we get a front-on view?

Hm, maybe those Multimeltas aren't as neat as I thought they were. Well, they're still far more useful than stormbolters :P.

 

Here's a front view of that shield; it is from the Crusader model that comes in the WitchHunter Inquisitor Retinue box. I've been thinking about changing the shield from all gold by painting some of the shield relief in white and purple, but that might make it just too busy...

nice mate, consider that shield idea stolen. as for painting it, yeah I'd pick out the background of the shield in you armour colour's it should make the rest of the detail "pop" more. Contemplate painting the raised I in red aswell as gold works better as a spot colour/accent.
