Angels Sanguine secret?

The biggest speculation is that they are either abnormally ugly or abnormally beautiful. Some variations of this indicate that perhaps the process in which they create marines causes each of them to look entirely too much alike.

I think perhaps they have an overtly vampire like appearance. Not necessarily pretty but more like Nosferatu/Hideous with big nasty pointy teeth.

Hmm, the all helmed army thing would be a prob since im using the Aobr as base for my first army. I have decided to go for either blood angels, angels sanguine or flesh tearers, but I can't decide -.- Which army do you think that have the scheme with the highest potential?

Hmmm... Have you considered doing the Blood Drinkers instead? It'd be perfect, since the Blood Drinkers use standard codex Astartes markings, and the AoBR marines have the tactical markings molded on their shoulder pads, IIRC...

Nope, Blood Angels, and most of their successor chapters, do not use the standard codex markings to designate squad types. The Blood Drinkers, and possibly the Lamenters, are the only successors who use the standard markings...

For the Blood Angels squads are designated by helmet color:

Red = Tactical

Yellow = Assault

Blue = Devastator

Gold = Honor Guard--and, in the new codex, all veterans in powered armor, although there is some debate about this because in previous codex books our veteran assault squads had yellow helmets and some of us don't want to re-paint our models... :D

^^^I'm not entirely sure if the other non-Blood Drinker successors (Angels Sanguine, Angels Vermillion, Flesh Tearers, etc.) use helmet colors to designate squad type or not--I've seen some people do so, but others not...

Squad number is indicated with a colored badge containing either a blood drop, skull, cross, wing, or lightning bolt rather than a numeral. Details can be found in the pdf codex and earlier codex books. I don't have my copy of the new codex handy, and I can't recall if the scheme was carried over in the new book.

Company number is indicated by a colored blood drop on the right shoulder pad.

*Reason for edit: forgot the company designation in original post*

You're welcome. Always glad to help out a fellow Battle Brother. ;)

Blood Angel terminators don't have any special markings, aside from their powerfists/chainfists and left hand lightning claw gauntlets being painted black, as far as I know. You might want to look into getting some of the Forgeworld Blood Angel terminator shoulder pads, though. I've got a couple of sets, and they really make the terminators look sweet! :tu:

We use *we as in Flesh tearers* helmet colour to denote what we do the list is as follows

Tacts = Black

Assault = black

Devs= black

Honour Guard= black

Due to the colour Black means we are well versed at killing things and we all do it gooooood :D Nah the FTs all have Black helmets since there is roughly 300 of us these days and we are all trained to do everything depending on what needs to be done well its up to who gets to the Armory first on fight night those late people get the Heavy weapons.:)...:D
