PH34RB0T
Has anyone attempted to convert Grey Knights from vanilla marines? I know for a fact that GW has the NFW for sale as individual bitz, and a proxy-storm bolter shouldn't be that hard to convert up -- I just made one by cutting two bolters flush and gluing them together. It's a little big and will probably need green-stuffed to fit onto a marine, but it just makes 'em look more BA. :D Anyone else try anything of the sort? Adir
The Darks Angels sprue from GW direct is your best friend. $20 for 10 marines with lots of bits perfect for grey knights. Check out the raised sword shoulder pads and the deathwatch =][= shoulder pad. Plus the power sword and power maul make great NFWs as in the fluff each is meant to be unique to their owner. Conversions with the NFW bits: And storm shields just because I like the look: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204290-converted-grey-knights/#findComment-2435872 Share on other sites

daboarder
You could try sang guard too, there are very few BA specific peices on thos models and they come with weapons that could cound as NFW or be easily converted into a wrist mounted bolter. Gentlemanloser
I've posted a few WIP pics of my plastic Grey Knights, I'm sure the threads are around here still somewhere. :) Basically using a 'crusader' helmet, BT tabard and Terminator groin guards. With a metal GKT SB left arm. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204290-converted-grey-knights/#findComment-2436518 Share on other sites
fivepointedstar
two bolt pistols cut and mod'ed to fit arm also work. I use it once to model a mini with a bolt pistol before blood angel sang guard arms came out.
