Lord Clinto
I remember reading about having a WGBL or WGPL armed with 2 combi-weapons in a post a few weeks back. Has this been debunked yet? And/or do the rules allow a model to be armed with 2 2handed weapons? Hfran Morkai
There's no such rule as two-handed weapons these days, the basic premise is that most models are capable of carrying two weapons (obviously there are exceptions such as CSM's and Grey Hunters) it doesn't matter what these weapons are. So you could equip a WG with two combi-weapons of your choice, just remember you can only fire one per turn. If you were to do this I'd suggest sticking mark of the Wulfen on the model as well Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204432-armed-with-2-combi-weapons/#findComment-2437767 Share on other sites
DapperDave
The wolfguard entry says "may replace their bolt pistol and/or close combat weapon..." There is essentially no such thing as a "two handed ranged weapon" and I'm not even sure if melee weapons are classified as one-handed and two handed any more. So I see nothing that would prevent buying two combi-weapons for a model. Of course, you can still only fire one a turn. I personally like to use wolfguard armed with combi-meltas and combi-flamers in a drop pod. Mantinel
I use 10 man wolf guard unit each armed with storm bolter. Also 6 of these guys have Combi-plasmas. It's a nice come-from-reserve unit to shoot some big threat and then stay back and lay down 20 stormbolter shots per turn. Stormshrug
Amazingly enough, right around when the Chaos Space Marines codex came out, people in the Warhammer Universe discovered holsters. They've been all the rage ever since. Even Calgar sports one, for his Power Sword. -Stormshrug Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204432-armed-with-2-combi-weapons/#findComment-2437825 Share on other sites
