Logan Shooty Army

Hi, I'm an old SW player but I'm a little rusty since I havent played in a long time and I'm just getting up to date.

 

So, after reading the codex and the rules, is this unit possible?

 

Logan

Rune Priest (living lightning plus some random power)

Rune Priest (living lightning plus some random power)

Rune Priest (living lightning plus some random power)

Long Fangs x6 (LaserC x5)

Wolf Guard (MLanucher)

 

Ok. Logan and 3 rune priests join the unit of long fangs (this is actually my question, can all this IC join one unit?) and Logan give the unit the Tank Hunters special ability. So the LF become S10, the Wolf Guard MLauncher S9 and the Rune Priests LL become S8?! The Rune Priests benefit from Logan's ability?

I ran Logan and 6 Long fangs and a Wolf Gaurd Pack leader with Cyclone missile launcher a few times. Never thought of a rune priest with them thou. Great idea thou.

 

You can expect this unit to draw a ton of fire thou. No way around that.

 

I killed like 4 vehicles and 2 squads with it one game. And usually get 2 to 3 vehicles and a command squad every game. So they make back their points. I also back them up with some Grey Hunters or Wolf Gaurd to help if it goes to a melee.

I ran such a unit though only 1 RP, Logan, WG w CML, 3 ML and 2 LC. Worked well, but I made it a break away unit, so RP had a Rhino with GH on one side and Logan had a DP that he could join or a LRC that he could hope into on the other side of the LF, plus the LF had a RB.

 

This was the only way I could make it all keep working for me.

Thanks all for your suggestions.

 

One more thing. What if I include a Callidus Assassin? (with a HQ Inquisitor of course) She could move that hvy tank hiding behind a building 6in out of cover and get blown to pieces, or at least lose one turn getting back in cover if he goes first. Really expensive all of it, but we can still use them right? Or we cant use assassins any more?
