His winks are supposed to appear as if they are covered with flayed skin as that is a theme throughout the army, not sure how well I pulled it off but he is BIG.

Love it! The powder-blue and pink mesh suprisingly nicely. Kudos on using the new cover of Daemon World as an inspiration - awesome book.

 

...I just spotted the crushed Terminator. DA? Very nice!

Very nice DP using an unusual palette of colours. I'd say the model needs a wash to bring the colours together a bit more maybe? Certainly the largish underside areas of the wings need a little extra – 'tattooed' symbols possibly – as there's a lot of empty space there. The treatment of the blue areas is first class.

If he was he'd be bone white :D .

Thanks man, I actually washed the wings several times but never got them quite perfect but decided to give up and call it good. This was the first time I have ever tried that much skin surface so I may not attempt that again.

 

And it didn't occur to me to paint him (the stomped upon termie) as Deathwing until too late in the process. :-(
