Dhx711
My land speeder tornado's flying base broke (the ball/socket part) and I'm attempting to magnatize the base and speeder as a fix. I attached the magnet to the top of the base and drilled out the hole on the bottom of the speeder where the socket gets attached to sink in a magnet. However, I failed to consider the metal missle pods on the speeder and now it keeps falling of as it's too back end heavy. Any ideas on how to fix this? ShinyRhino
You might take a look at these magnetic flying stands. I have a set, and they're quite sturdy. The extra part in the middle helps with balance issues. Durus
If you stack the magnets on top of each other, it will increase the weight they can hold. Just let some magnets snap on each other and see if they can support the speeders weight. When you have enough, just glue them in place. Looking at what those stands did, I was inspired to mount a second peg on the base ahead of the main one and mounted a second magnet where the underslung front weapon would go. If that don't work, I'm buying those. Thanks everyone for the assistance Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204535-helping-repairing-a-speeder/#findComment-2439205 Share on other sites
