Grey Mage
No, you cant. They wont let them in their tournaments and they wont let them in their painting competitions. They do allow original sculpts, conversions with some non-gw parts, and non-gw bases though. Not sure that helps though. NovaScotius
Sorry chap... "You can only enter once in each category, and all entries to Golden Demon, Young Bloods and the Open Competition must be painted Citadel models, Forge World models or conversions based thereon." Just under the title halfway down the page saying "Competitor's Guidelines". Golden Daemon Guidelines A model produced by another company does not count as a 'conversion', and Games Workshop takes a notoriously dim view of models produced by other companies being used in their stores, tournaments or painting competitions. sazzer
You *might* get away with your AoW miniture as being part of a bigger scene - in the Diorama category for example - if the rest of the scene was GW models. Probably not though... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204562-golden-daemon/#findComment-2447814 Share on other sites
Night Runner
I don't see the problem really, there are so many excellent citadel models in their range. I'm sure you can find something that suits your tastes. And since you've posted in the Fang, why not enter something themed around our beloved SW? Like a unit or diorama? Always a winner, even if you don't get a Golden Demon for it! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204562-golden-daemon/#findComment-2448604 Share on other sites
