HighMarshalEagle Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 So, somehow, i ended up with a model of Sicarus, but, playing Templars, i didn't have a use for him. So, i get to thinking abit about what i could use him for. My leader is a TH/SS Termie or Artificer Armour, so that wouldn't really work, well, it would have for the Artificer. But i have other models slated for that. Already have an old Termie Librarian still to be converted, and want the artificer to look at least similar. But then, what does EVERY Templar player need? An Emperors Champion, and i dont like having stock special characters, even the 25th Anniversary one. So i broke out the bitz box, the files, the green stuff, the pin vice, the brass rod, clippers, and glue. A few hours, alot of profanity, a little spilled blood (we've all become intimate with our hobby knives), and Mr. Cato Sicarus was ready to be included in a grand Templar Crusade. Most of the work was filing off the plethora of Ultramarine logos that festoon the model. For the most part i kept the model stock, with the exceptions of the Black Sword bit that i had lying around and a templar Terminator shield. A little greenstuff work to replace the new flattened area's with Templar crosses and he was ready for some primer. While he's not finished yet, i thought i'd get a few opinions on how hes turning out. I applaud you for going further than I did and breaking out the Green Stuff.
