spu00sed
I am planning on starting a space wolf army, once I have finished my blood angels. I have the codex and a count as wolfwing army (using my space hulk blood angels and converting termies with random weapons), however I want to start a proper wolfy army. What I want to know is “Would two packs work together?” My plan is to have a depleted pack lead consisting of a few lone wolfs termie wolf guard and long fangs. The pack knows it is soon to meet their lost brethren in the mead halls of the all father. The other pack will consist of multiple squads of grey hunters and blood/sky claws. The older pack has decided to help guide the younger pack and focus them. Would this work? Or would the different packs not work so closely together. Lone wolves wouldn't simply because once they become a lone wolf they kinda go nutsy till they kill the biggest nastiest thing they can find to regain their packs honor,or die trying. By space wolf standards a Lone Wolf is...well..they are insane...there is really no other way to describe it...They have lost the most important thing to a Space Wolf...and it shows. Wolf guard OFTEN guide packs of grey hunters and Blood Claws, the Blood claws especially. A long fang pack might advise them every now and then, and would certainly fight beside them and protect them, because that is what the job of the Long Fangs are...they watch over their younger brothers and insure that any enemies they face are as close to on even terms as possible.
