Lorenzen Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 hey all, needed to take a break from painting red for a little while and wanted to test out an idea i had for painting 13th company/pre heresy style wolves. (ie grey grey rather than blue grey like my current wolf army) rather than just grab a wolf model and start testing however.. that little voice in the back of my head that makes me cut up expensive models on a whim was screaming its head off and i ended up with this.. http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/typhion/DSC00227.jpg still a long way to go before hes finished and ready for paint.. but i thought id share him anyways. c&c welcome as per usual. Lorenzen Posted June 19, 2010 Author Share Posted June 19, 2010 http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/typhion/DSC00228.jpg the brown bit will eventually come to resemble a rocky outcrop of sorts.. though if it fails, ill just carve into it and sand parts of it. need to start work on the foot soon and probably give the lord a mohawk of sorts.. the other side of him needs some fur sculpted and then its on to details. happy with the result so far.. fangir doesnt look like a friendly little doggy anymore.. he looks rather angry.
