Skirax
Woah, nostalgic moment for me B) This was in fact one of my first questions on the board, so I'll try and do the original answer (which was very useful) justice... It's actually plasticard, and is usually anything between 0.5mm, to 1mm thick. It is generally an A4 peice of card that is made of weak, malleable plastic. It is most generally used for armour plating or scratch building. Fenxis
Which you should be able to get purchase for really cheap in any hardware store... just look for the "For Sale" / "No Traspassing" / etc signs -- which suitable for some versions etc. For extra armour, etc.. you'll need to look for thicker stuff. wiplash
you can generally buy them from hobby shops. However, NEVER buy it from a hobby shop (unless you need something specific). in hobby shops it is crazy expensive. there are several websites that sell it but i've never used them so i cant post an opinion. I have bought my plasticard from eBay i bought an auction of around 20 sheets of 12" x 12" of varying thickness and that will last me for as long as I play warhammer probably The cheapest form of plasticard is... go into a DIY shop or maybe even a supermarket, and buy signs. For example disabled parking signs, these can often be up to A3 in size and may cost you less than a £1. they are usually 1mm thick which is fine for most plasticard jobs, and if too thick can easily be filed down once glued Posted Today, 02:48 PM Which you should be able to get purchase for really cheap in any hardware store... just look for the "For Sale" / "No Traspassing" / etc signs -- which suitable for some versions etc. For extra armour, etc.. you'll need to look for thicker stuff. daw beat me to it!!
