Ash Tekka
So I'm thinking of converting a model to be Arjac. Before I go crazy working on him I wanted to double check something. Can he be attached to a pack of grey hunters like a normal wolf guard? I would think so since there's nothing specific saying he can't but I wanted to make sure. Hfran Morkai
Yes you can, in fact it's one of the more popular uses, if you give the pack he tours with a Banner he can become nigh on invincible for one turn. stinkenheim
yeah he's exactly the same as a normal wolf guard in terms of being able to attach them to other squads. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204682-arjac/#findComment-2440817 Share on other sites
WG Vrox
Wolf Priest, Arjac, 10 Grey Hunters, 1 Flammer 1 Melta, MotW, Wolf Stankdard, Land Raider Crusader = WIN. Ok, now that you started the post, you have to show us pictures of WIP. Ok, now that you started the post, you have to show us pictures of WIP. Vrox I was thinking a squad with him, a wolf priest, wolf standard, and two melta guns could cause some serious hurt to my friends death company:) I haven't even started him yet. I'm collecting the bits now to do it. I'm planning on a scratch built hammer for his left arm with the arm possibly extended like in the middle of an overhand throw with the hammer just starting to leave his hand. For the shield I thought about using one of the larger ones from the fantasy kit but since I haven't found one I like yet I may just build one. I'm also thinking of doing him more like a true-scale terminator so that hes considerably bigger then all my other models, I just haven't found a good tutorial on that yet. I'm also going to steal a bunch of chaos parts(or if I'm lucky enough to get some bug parts) from my friends and make him standing on a pile of corpses. He hopefully will be suitable epic. As soon as I start him I will be posting a WIP thread and I'll make sure to let everyone know:) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204682-arjac/#findComment-2441623 Share on other sites
Ash Tekka
Another quick question. How big do you think the head of his hammer could be before it got silly? I'm thinking of using the wolf helm from them box set as one side of the hammer so it'd be rather large... I got the same when I read it. Thats why I was thinking a larger head and making the shaft pretty short. I just don't want it to be comical in it' sizing hence my question. WG Vrox
I find just putting my normal sized models on a rised base of some type, much like the one you mentioned, is good enugh to give them the larger stature look.
