MaleOpener
Good morning. I'm a bit confused on how to roll for Hurricane Bolters on a LRC. The rules state they are three TL heavy bolters fired as a single weapon, so do I roll for 3 heavy bolters and re-roll any misses ( second result stands )? I seem to get differenet answers from people at my local GW store, and calling mail order isn't helping out either. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204735-how-do-you-fire-hurricane-bolters/ Share on other sites
Allerka
Regular bolters, actually, not heavy bolters. But yes, you fire either six shots if the target is 12" or less (i.e. you're rapid firing) or three shots at 24" range, and re-roll any misses. So that's twelve twin-linked bolter shots into a target if you're close enough. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204735-how-do-you-fire-hurricane-bolters/#findComment-2441490 Share on other sites
Sparhawk
It is actually 3 Twin-linked bolters not heavy bolters so you would get 1 shot per bolter at 24 inches or 2 shots per bolter at 12 inches and would get to re-roll misses. So that would be 3 total shots per sponson at 24 and 6 total shots at 12. I generally roll all at once and then re-roll any misses.
