Prince of Ecstasy
I've got a quick question regarding ubergrit and two-handed assault weapons. If a CSM fires an assault weapon such as a meltagun or flamer in the shooting phase, does he still gain +1 attack from the ccw and bolt pistol he's equipped with if he charges in the assault phase? Olgerth Istaarn
Yes. There really isn't such a thing as "ubergrit". It's a silly term that confuses people. There also isn't such a thing as a "two handed shooting weapon" anymore, either. "Two-handed" attribute only pertains to close combat weapons. If you fire something labeled "an assault weapon", all it means is you can assault after firing it. You then calculate attacks based on what you are armed and attacking with. You have base 1, gain 1 from charging, and attack with BP&CCW, gaining another bonus attack, for a total of 3. I guess you could CHOOSE not to attack with BP&CCW since you sort of have an alternative (I mightily bash thee with the melta gun UPSIDE DA HEAD!), but I've never even pondered that possibility before now.
