MaleOpener
Can rune priest in runic armor use 5+ inv. save from wound caused by perils of the warp? The rulebook states ( pg 50 ), you can use a invul save against a PotW wound. Though it doesn't clarify it as a "psychic attack". I would allow a SW opponent to use it, but not 100% sure on an official ruling. NovaScotius
Page 61 of the Codex describes Runic Armour as granting a "5+ invulnerable save against all wounds caused by psychic attack". Perils of the Warp is not defined as a 'Psychic attack', so I personally would argue that a Rune Priest would not be able to use Runic Armour against Perils of the Warp <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204817-runic-armor-and-perils-of-the-warp/#findComment-2442657 Share on other sites
Kanis
Unforunately I agree with Nova, it's just a wound inflicted, nothing says it's a psychic attack, so I'd say no, he can't have his save via Runic armor. Kanis
(sorry, not sure why it did it twice) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204817-runic-armor-and-perils-of-the-warp/#findComment-2442713 Share on other sites
Plastenarius
After thinking about this a little more I don't think you would get the invulnerable either. I assumed you would until I thought about it a little more. I would say sadly - no. (Not like it matters because your odds of getting a 5+ twice, after rerolling for perils, is probably not going to happen) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204817-runic-armor-and-perils-of-the-warp/#findComment-2442771 Share on other sites
stinkenheim
my group play it as yes, but it rarely matters  however i would never assume a random opponent would allow me to and nor would i try and claim it without prior discussion.
