Hotspur
I think you have to go w/ either the Redeemer or the Crusader. If you feel comfortable magnetizing the kit, you can have both! There are some good video tutorials on youtube that show how to magnetize Land Raiders. The Bloodclaw battering ram is a tactic a lot of here like. Most people will tell you to take the LRC and put 15 bloodclaws in it; it's a very effective unit. I usually go with an 11 man squad + wolf guard in a LRR b/c I like the flamestorm cannons, but either way, the unit makes most opponents cringe. Hope that helps. Good luck! Hymirl
I trialled the redeemer but switched to the lascannon version when I actually bought one. I find that they wolves don't have a lot of firepower in the long range department so having the flexiblity to sit back and laser some stuff is handy. The redeemer I'm not convinced about, I found whenever I was in idea range to burn anything I'd have space wolves standing in the after they disembark. Additionally it suffers from the same problem as the crusader, inablity at range... if your opponent has a couple of vindicators you're likely to be in trouble trying to run though that sort of firepower.... Of course if you can get the charge off with a fully loaded crusader then theres not a lot that will stand in the way. Raulmichile
I use a normal Land Raider with either CC Wolf Lord and WG Termes or a WGBL and 9 PA WG and it has worked very nice so far. Sometimes I wish I would have a Crusader but for the most part the pair of twin Lascannons have done their job well protecting the tank. (going against hammerheads, LR Demolishers, Obliterators, etc) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204878-land-raider/#findComment-2444936 Share on other sites
