Tomlev40
Has it occurred to any one that Lion El'Jonson had autism? Even with the gene-seed from the Emperor, lots of Primarchs had mutations (Sang and his giant wings of fluffyness), so why can't traits of autism work in? All his personality traits point towards this. Captain Idaho
Very possible, but would GW really do that? Potentially contraversial. But if he did have autism, then he was distinctly unsuitable for leadership of a Legion of Space Marines. Doubt you will get much support from the DA players with such a notion! I'm not sure it is genetic... I think it has more to do with growing up without human contact... even Curze had human contact of a kind... but I would say Curze has the closest upbringing to the Lion... While Curze 'hated' the wickedness of humanity from his youth and never learned to really interact or trust people... lion just lacked interaction and so didn't understand people... while on the other hand both he a curze had been fighting for their lives each and everyday (one against nature [even Chaotically modified nature] and the other against wicked wicked people... although he hunted them more than they hunted him xD.) they both learned how to survive with the difference that the lion was strategically and tactically the man meaning he would plan and do what was needed to survive while the night haunter did what was needed to bring order (in his oppinion). Terrahawk
One thing to remember about the Lion is that even though he had a huge flaw with his inability to deal with people, he was easily one the best military leaders among the Primarchs (who are all awesome military leaders). In addition to this he was also one of the best hand-to-hand fighters as he is noted being the equal of Russ himself. So cut the silent feller some slack guys! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/204943-sanguinius-most-popular/page/3/#findComment-2514344 Share on other sites

Aqui
Well I fell in love with Sanguinius in the first HH book, Dan Abnett’s Horus Rising. It was the way he appeared on the battlefield at Murder, and recognised the identity of the dead Blood Angel simply by looking at the markings on the helmet. That he had such a connection to all of his legion made me realise what a swell guy he was. This. I loved the fact that in that novel, you could feel his sorrow. And his appreciation to those who brought him the helmet. <_< Nah, I'd rather not. Headstrong, arrogance and very stubborn, I doubt that he'd have been a good WarMaster, especially with the animosity with Johnson and his distrust of psykers (Magnus, but not the Emperor). Having said that I get a feeling that Russ wasn't too keen on more than a few Primarchs (although I haven't got much information to back that feeling up, I get the impression that many of the Primarchs that ultimately turn traitor got Russ' back up) The Angel would have been my choice if I was Emperor, if Horus wasn't an option.
