nurgling6688
Hello everyone. I haven't played BFG in a few years now, and was never very savy with the rules in the first place. I am dusting off my chaos fleet right now and plan to add to it. The Terminus Est is going to be my flag ship and what the fleet will be built around, i was wondering what chaos ships are best? mostly escort wise. Thank you. MayorDaley
An expensive tactic I use regularly is this: 2 Slaughter class crusiers with a Chaos Lord, and mark of Khorne. The trick with this set-up is to get your fleet into postion so that your foe must turn their fleet to engage the bulk of your fleet. This enables the Slaughters to move 5D6 All Ahead Full into their flagship, or some other equally juicy target. People tend to under-estimate the boarding prowess of Chaos fleets. That being said the MoK doubles your value in boarding actions. The drawback of this tactic is you must wait for the pivotal turn to move the Slaughters, too soon and you will out-pace the rest of your fleet, too late and the EXPENSIVE Slaughters will do very little. A couple (3 or 4) of Infidels will go a long way into pressurring your foe into a space he may not want to be. As far as other cruisers go, I have found that upgraded Murders are the bulk of my fleet. I do not know what you are planning on running in your fleet, other than the Terminus Est, but pt for pt I have found the Repulsive class grand cruiser (upgraded) to be the best ship in the game. Hope that this helped a little bit. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205000-building-a-chaos-fleet-for-bfg/#findComment-2449036 Share on other sites
