I've been poking around the forums for a few weeks since i've decided to get back into Warhammer 40k and thought that I should introduce myself. I started playing Dark Angels back in 01-02 and felt like it wasn't a good fit so I walked away, but recently at my LGS stopped to look through the SW codex and noticed that they were nothing like the Dark Angels I used to play, all SWs a hero in their own right ripping a bloody swath through the enemies of the imperium with the retort of their bolter and whir of their blood drench chainswords. TBH it got me a bit excited, like I'd picked up a book opening the doors to many new hours of gaming. So i bought the SW battle set, SW and SM codex went home and started painting. Vorion Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 Welcom brother and of course SW armies are fun. counter charge, acute senses, negating your psychic powers on a 5+ nullifing powers with a RP on a 4+ and TWC, aren't many better ways to have fun. but to be fair to DA, they are fairly nice dresses...
