sniperhavens
This is a DIY Chapter ''The Chained Lions'' I've been working on for some time now, just got my new camera to take quality pictures. They are all almost done but still require touch ups and what not soon to come my entire 2500 point Army. The first Tac Squad http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/103_0831.jpg The Shoulder Pad http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/000_0007.jpg A little more progress though I did away with the Dark Angel Helmets http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/103_0840.jpg Almost finished and based, needs some touch ups http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/103_0972.jpg Front of my Wolf Guard Battle Leader Leopold Ziess http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/SANY0411.jpg side http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/SANY0412.jpg back http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/SANY0413.jpg Wolf Priest Havens http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/SANY0416.jpg http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/SANY0417.jpg Skyclaws http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/sniperhavens/SANY0418.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205114-diy-chapter-wip/ Share on other sites
Chaplain Hiltraud
Although I'm usually not crazy about segmenting the model with the colour scheme, I really like your models, the colours work together beautifully, and I really like your chapter badge and I loved the plume helmut, I for one am interested with seeing more of your army ;) Yours in Honour and Faith, Chaplain Hiltraud Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205114-diy-chapter-wip/#findComment-2447091 Share on other sites
Tropicana
These are looking nice, so they are. Plumed Helmet is an Eldar Dire Avenger, correct? Scheme is sweet; the Red Helmets and Robes really set off those Veteran Models, and separate them from the rest. Well done! Will watch thread for more. sniperhavens
I appreciate the comments guys. The fluff behind the red helmet is that they are like Grey Hunters having served and shed blood for many years, basic blood claws wear the tan colored helmet and the wolf guard wear bone colored helmets. Any Lion that loses his chain brother wears a half red half black helmet and the blood tabard to symbolize his loss and pay respect to the fallen brother. You are correct Dire Avenger helmet but I have since these pics were taken changed the helmet to standard marine helmets. I will post more pics of the complete and updates paint scheme soon.
