Blood Angels Librarian and Sanguinary Guard

Hey all,

I've been painting this stuff for the last couple of weeks.

The S.Guard were definitely a pleasure to paint. But very time consuming. I don't know how people paint up entire armies of them.

The Librarian is simply a black templars sword brethren with a psychic hood tacked on. Simple, but I like the way he looks

Beautiful work brother! One thing that bugs me about people's Saguinary Guard models though, they carry Glaive Encarmines and Encarmine is a type of red so why the hell does everyone paint them blue (or in your case green)?

Appreciate it fellas. Yeah the moustache is my favorite part of the mini. Not enough figs in the Gw range have them

@ SanguiniusReborn: GW seems to name their items by theme rather than by appearance. For example, the Red Grail carried by Corbulo is not actually red, but rather, gold. The Glaives Encarmines the S.guard wield are actually axes and swords instead of "glaives" which technically are long staffs with a blade on the end. The "red" could also come from the blood that the "glaives" spill. I try not to get too caught up in the terminology and just paint based on what I think looks good on the table.
