Eltnot
Just thought I'd start this thread to help summarise for WH players, the changes and oddities we now have to get used to with our "new" codex. This is NOT a rant thread, but just a thread to find all of the changes to bring players up to speed. Post up anything else I've missed and I'll try to keep this post up to date. Army Build Option to ally WH with other armies has been removed. Option to take Inducted units from C:IG and C:SM has been removed (latest version online, changed from originally released version). Option to take Adversaries has been removed. Transports Rhino - only has one fire point, so only a single model may shoot out from it. Chimera - not amphibious. Only two fire points (nothing about lasguns firing). Smoke Launchers - as per the BRB (was already updated in latter printings but many players still own early print runs). Heavy Support Immolator - only has one fire point. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205211-wh-changes-with-the-new-pdf/ Share on other sites
Inquisitor Fox
As per my post here I am closing this topic. Please return to your regularly scheduled B&C activity. EDIT: I was originally going to close this one, however it's just summarizing the differences and has no complaining or flaming, so it can stay. Obliterator
TransportsRhino - only has one fire point, so only a single model may shoot out from it. Chimera - not amphibious. Heavy Support Immolator - only has one fire point. Both the Rhino and Immolator only had 1 fire point before, so nothing really changes on that part. But when you're used to playing the Marine Rhinos, I agree you'll need to adapt to this  One thing that did change in the 'new' version is that Witchhunter Rhinos now also get the repair special rule, which makes the new version a tad more viable for the mechanised pure Sister forces out there. Inquisitor Fox
At first glance it appears like the worked in some of the wording clarifications from the FAQ. I haven't had time to line by line it, this weekend doesn't look promising for that as it's my youngest son's first birthday and then the 4th. Perhaps sometime next week I might have a moment to go over it with a fine tooth comb. Odd, I could've sworn mine wasn't that old :) Mine must be some overstock model from right before the newer print I guess... Older printings had one fire point that two people may fire from, the newer printings changed this just to be one fire point. Since this is a get up to speed thread, I thought I'd include those points for those who up until now have been using older printings.
