Reins on thunderwolfs.

Hello you beerguzzlers :)

I have just finished greenstuffing 2 high elf chariot lions to try my hand at making some thunderwolf cavalry but I have run into a little problem.

I recently bought some jewelry chains to use as reins for my thunderwolfs but now I cant decide if I should have the riders hold the chains or having them lie on the wolfs necks as if they have just let the reins go to swing their fancy weapons around.

For example if I have a rider with a storm shield holding the reins it will just have the shield and no weapon as the other hand is used to hold the reins.

I hope you understand my problem and could offer your advice.

Thans in advance.

The bond of trust, respect, or fear on the part of the TWM is not best reflected by reigns or leashes. It is rider and mount forming a fighting team. No offense, but if you do this, are they still being broken in as mounts?

to add, if you want to do this, go ahead. I'd just figure SW's would use dragonskin (leather paint works) as opposed to much else.

But everything in the Imperium is somehow British... wouldn't they have English saddles. ;)

 Ok, how about an Australian saddle as a compromise! They have horns and they are mostly English descent!
