Vash113
In case it isn't already known I was browsing around GW's website and came across this in the Warhammer Fantasy bits Mounts section. These are the wolves from the Goblin Wolf Riders set, I use these very same models for my own Fenresian Wolves but the result is generally a ton of fantasy goblins and bits laying around with little use and a bit more expense. This bits set comes with 5 wolves and just the five wolves and is $15. If your willing to wait for the set to be shipped to your local GW it can save some cash and some trouble but if you want more wolves right away then the Goblin Wolf Rider set is still a good way to go. In any case, we have a more direct way of getting cheap and effective wolves from GW! Lord Doyok
I use Chaos Hounds. 15 pounds for 10 wolves sounds like a reasonable buy. Since I'm doing a 13th Co., all that mutation seems appropriate after spending some 10,000 years in the EoT. If you dont like the mutations, just use GS to patch things up :). You can get them even cheaper from the on-line shops like Maelstrom games, 13.50 per box IIRC. I recently bought ten citadel plastic wolf heads and tails (the goblin ones Vash is referring to in the above post) from ebay. I'm going to change the heads and tails like the example below by DJ Batman:- http://dj-batman.blogspot.com/2009/10/alte...conversion.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205295-easy-and-affordable-fenresian-wolves/#findComment-2448585 Share on other sites
CainTheHunter
I recently bought ten citadel plastic wolf heads and tails (the goblin ones Vash is referring to in the above post) from ebay. These heads are also good for various vehicle/transport decorations and conversions. I am putting these on Rhinos/Razorbacks/Preds or occassionaly on bikes. jeremy1391
this seems much better than the actual goblin kits, no need for goblin bits for me =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205295-easy-and-affordable-fenresian-wolves/#findComment-2448631 Share on other sites
