Origins

When Chapter Master Azrael of the Dark Angels requested for the Disciples of Caliban to be created to capture Cypher, he also requested that a twin chapter be created simultaneously: the Lions Rampant. The two were originally intended for the same purpose, but the Lions Rampant were soon called to defend their homeworld from the threat of the Orks. The threat was defeated swiftly and with very few casualties, but the Disciples of Caliban had progressed far enough on their own that the two chapters decided to go their separate paths.

Organisation

The Lions Rampant stray from the Codex Astartes in that each company is assigned a letter instead of a number. As well, Alpha and Beta Companies are modeled after the Deathwing and Ravenwing Companies respectively of their founding chapter, the Dark Angels.

Alpha Company: Alpha Captain Daniel Valdes; Modeled after the Dark Angels' Deathwing Company

Beta Company: Beta Captain Spenser Wastle ; Modeled after the Dark Angels' Ravenwing Company

Gamma Company: Gamma Captain Cóemgein Hodder; Organized into 6 Tactical Squads, 2 Assault Squads, 2 Devastator Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts.

Delta Company: Delta Captain Kohl "Madman" Maddel; Organized into 6 Tactical Squads, 2 Assault Squads, 2 Devastator Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts.

Epsilon Company: Epsilon Captain Kuyl Brant; Organized into 6 Tactical Squads, 2 Assault Squads, 2 Devastator Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts.

Zeta Company: Zeta Captain William Griffiths; Organized into 10 Tactical Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts

Eta Company: Eta Captain Arthur Samusz; Organized into 10 Tactical Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts

Theta Company: Theta Captain Cyril Balitbit; Organized into 10 Assault Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts

Iota Company: Iota Captain Emmott Kelsey; Organized into 10 Devastator Squads, as well as possessing Rhinos and Dreadnoughts

Kappa Company: Kappa Captain "Hunter" Etherington; Organized into Scout Squads.

Battle Cry

Immediately before contact with the enemy, the highest-ranked Space Marine leading the force gives the traditional salute:

"Every man but a man."

and the rest of the force responds with the cry:

"Every Lion something more!"

They have also been known to cry "For the Lion and for Terra!" although this is more rare.

The Chapter's motto is "No gain without labor," although this is deemed unfit for use as a battle cry by most members.

Not really much to comment on, but I will say that such a large description of Organisation in an IA is seldom warranted; you can explain the same organisation with a few simple sentances.

The battlecry is interesting, though I would prefer something like..

Every man but a man.

Every Lion something more!

Also, I think that "The Lions Rampant" is a better sounding name; more feral and Astartes-esque.

Pleased you incorporated a lion rampant into the Chapter iconography though!

For some reason when I read the name Rampant Lions, I went to a very dark place :P

At the moment, I am not sure about the need for their back story about being born with the Disciples of Calbian. All I can say is unless it twists into their history, drop because it is just a look at me stamp.

T'au didn't show up until late in the day, M41 so a chapter founded that early would not soon have to deal with them.

I like your suggestions. I'll incorporate them!

Hm, good point. I'll think of something else to separate them from the Disciples of Caliban. Or, like you said, just ignore that bit about their twin chapter.

It all sounds well and good to me, and I agree that "Every man but a man" sounds better. I'm interested in this, and want to hear more :D

Don't worry, more coming when I can actually find the time to write more ;)
