Ozybonza
So I was thinking - in exactly what scenarios would a force weapon on a dread be useful? The blood fist will instakill anything with T5 or less and I can't think of much besides Tyranid MCs that are T6 or above and don't have eternal warrior (and half of those have shadow of the warp anyway). Well there's always Wraithlords, but you'd probably be better off bashing him with S10 than needing a 6 to wound.
Zid
You can use the force wep and instakill Mephiston... ;)
matchbox
Stuff with Powerfists? Or high Strength MC with lower I. You can use it to strike first and kill them before they tear you a new one.
Renik
you would strike at initative anyway as bloodfists are as dreadnaught close combats weapons so they just double the strength. Its prob mostly in there for balance and the ocasional time you would want to use it

Inquisitor Kravin
You can use the force wep and instakill Mephiston... :P Ironically, this!
Firedrake28
It's useful against targets with T6, basically. It's a great way to deal with a Trygon or something. To be honest though, I think the main attraction of a Furioso Librarian is the psychic powers - having a Dreadnought moving like jump infantry is awesome. ProteanSun
Having 2 of them in my list I can tell you the force weapon is really only useful against MCs. It's a huge gamble against wraithlords but against T6 MCs it's fairly useful, although I prefer to use the Blood fist most of the time. I prefer to give all of my Furioso Librarians Shield of Sanguinius and Wing of Sanguinius. It allows them to move pretty much straight down the field without taking much damage. Renik
when either gw do a model or forgeworld do a blood angel one i plan to get one prob with wings of sangunius and blood lance for mobile tank hunting. Though i have had good conversion idea if forgeworld just do a normal blood angel dread. Is to use the grey knights dread arm as already looks like force weapon.
