Hello !

Just got a few questions regarding the rules for blood angels.

1.If you deep strike a land raider can the troops embarked assault ?

2.If you move a stormraven flat out can the embarked troops assault ?

3. are death company worth taking over standard jump troops ?

Thanks guys !!!

1. No, as deep strikers, whether in a transport or not, cannot assault.

2. No, as when you move flat out you cannot get out of your transport at all.

3. Sometimes, but as it's not a rules question, I'd take it to the Blood Angels Forum.

1: No you can't assault. C: BA pg 37 "Note that a unit that Deep Strikes within a Land Raider cannot assault in the turn it arrives

2: No you can't assault C:BA pg 38 "Note that models that disembark in this manner (disembarking from a stormraven moving flat out) cannot assault on the turn they do so" italics are added by me for clarification

3: I don't consider myself qualified to dispence advice on tactics or army list. I would suggest that since this isn't the plase for that question you should ask in the Blood Angles area of this forum.

warning topic jacking... j/k not.. i'm not... but how far can a LSS move before the scouts can't assault?

If the LSS moves more than 12" they cant assault.. if it moves more than 6" they cant shoot from the top unless they disembark first..

While Seahawk is nominally correct, Skies of Blood will allow you to disembark from a Stormraven that moved Flat Out.

It's dangerous but it can be done.
