Capt. Knight
I really like making my own warhammer 40k fluff and I especially like the Space Marines and the Imperial Guard. This is my first attempt to make a really good space marine chapter of my very own. I'm sort of going to use some special rules for them to coincide with the fluff I made. Name: Imperial Dragons Founding chapter: Imperial Fists Founding: 25th Chapter Master: Mikal Scorx Homeworld: Prussasia Fortress-Monastery: Templas Major Main colours: Black, White, Red Specialty: Siege, Assault Battle Cry: For Prussasia, the Emperor and the Imperium! Estimated strength: 1200 marines When were they formed? 41st millenia MK 243 Why? For the Kerstine Crusade against the forces of chaos. Does your Chapter have a homeworld? Yes. Where is it? Segmentum Tempestus What is it like? A cold, desolate, mountainous planet home to man tribes of incredibly tough tribesmen. A large species of lizard-like mammals know as Druches live on the planet picking off tribesmen and women and sometimes devastating a whole tribe. The only areas of warmth are the caves that go so far deep into the planet that they almost reach the core. Druches often live in these caves. Sometimes tribes kill the Druches and start to live in these caves. In MK 243 The Imperial Dragons space marine chapter was founded there. How has your homeworld affected your Chapter? The Imperial Dragons are ferocious, uncompromising warriors and get their inspiration from the Druches. They specialize in flame based anti tank weapons (meltas) and anti infantry weapons (flamers). They rule closely with their subjects. How does your Chapter fight? They are assault and siege troops. They use melta and flamer based specialization weaponry. Their assault marines use flamers and melta guns in each assault squad in exchange for the pistol and close combat weapons. They often fight in trenches for defense and siege. Why do they fight this way? The flame an melta based weaponry because of the Druche dragons. They fight siege and assault because early on in their history they developed influences from the Imperial Fists and they broke the siege by sending assault marines in. Are there any examples of your Chapter's battle-history? In the Kerstine Crusade Mk 248 The siege of the fortress planet of Corfis. The guardsmen forces had been sieging the planet for 4 yrs and the forces of the Imperial Dragons chapter laid siege to the main fortress. In less than a month, with the help of guardsmen and the Imperial navy bombardment, the Imperia Dragons broke the siege and captured the fortress. How is your Chapter organised? 6 companies of marines. 6th company is compromised of the fighting vehicles, dreadnaughts, landraiders, techmarines, crew, etc. 5th company is scouts. 4th new marines. 3rd company is the veteran marines. 2nd company is assault marines. 1st company is the best of the best. The chapter master, Orchis Stild, looked down upon the codex astartes and thought it was not concise enough and shortened it and added a company for the techmarines, vehicles and crew. What comprises your Chapter's belief system? They are loyal to the emperor, the primarch, Rogal Dorn, and the chapter master without doubt or question. he Emperor is the flame that lights the galaxy and his soldiers use his flame to light up the dark places of the universe. They worship the Emperor via battle so they practice and pray as one. They view the primarchi reveranc but they do not try to do the rself punishment to the extent that the Imperial Fists do. They are a more humanitarian chapter, but they will not stop in battle to be nice. In battle they are totally focused on the objectives, but will divert if they must or if they see an opening. Ogryns where once on Prussasia but where wiped out due to the lack of resources and their war with the tribesmen, who used cunning to their advantage. Because of this the chapter has an intense dislike for ogryns and on a roll of 6 before the game starts they will fire upon them when possible. Why does your Chapter hold these beliefs? Originally coming from an ice planet, heat and light were valuable resources and highly sought after. Hence they came to view the Emperor as the guiding light of the universe. Many of the beliefs about the primarch came from Orchis Stild’s beliefs on him. He instructed all the marines of his beliefs. How have these beliefs affected your Chapter? They are highly attuned warriors with their weapons of choice. They often use heat based weaponry to lighten the dark places of the universe, so to speak. These beliefs come from their homeworld and the original chapter master Orchis Stild. Mostly these beliefs were there from the start of the planet. hence the marines brought them into the chapter. Which Primarch does your Chapter descend from? Is your Chapter aware of its genetic legacy, or have they lost their records? They are descended from Rogal Dorn of the Imperial Fists and are quiet aware of their genetic history. Which Chapter was your Chapter created from? The original legion itself, or one of the successor Chapters? The Imperial Fists. Why have you chosen that gene-seed? I always liked the Imperial Fists and I wanted to have a siege/defence based chapter. Of course then I wanted to make it balanced so I added some assault specilization. And there are too many Ultramarine chapters :). Has your gene-seed mutated in any way? They don’t have the betcher’s gland. What gets said? Who says it? By the frosty lands of Prussasia, to the arid glades of Lithconis we come to serve the Emperor and his guiding light. Now the enemies of Him come before us as moths to a flame. Let us show them how the Emperors chosen worship His grace. Now, to battle! Is it screamed in the heat of action? Sworn as a vow beforehand? Chanted throughout battle? Something else? The chaplain and leading officer say this before hand. Then the marines yell : For the Emperor, the Primarch, and the Imperium! Planets in the Templas sytstem Templas Major: Main world, the chapter master is the planetary govenor. Imperial world. Prussasia: Ice world. Feral world and Imperial Dragons homeworld and recruitment world. Lithconis: Temporate, feral world. Recruitment world. Templas Minor: Training/ Agri world.
