Brother Caleb
This is what I've come up with. 145pts: Wolf Guard Battle Leader (Wolf Claw, Storm Shield, Wolftooth Necklace, Wolf Tail Talisman, Saga of the Beast Slayer) It seems to me that an invuln save is a requisite since it every other combatant will most likely have some form of PW. A storm shield is cheaper than TDA and gives a better save. The WTN negates the need for a FW or TH, so I went with a WC for the consistency granted by rerolling. SotBS seemed like adequate daemon prince insurance, especially coupled with the wolf claw rerolling to wounds in such situations. I figured the WTT coupled with the invuln from the SS should protect me from most psyker attacks. The major downside of this build is the lack of shooting. My gut tells me to go for the gusto and focus on melee, but my tactical side says that doing so is to forgo a free attack. Thoughts? Any way to build more synergy? As for what to use,I would probably go Wolf Priest,Runic Armor,Plasma Pistol, wolf tooth Necklace. Hotspur
Agree with requiem; I want to know when the AoD is so I can put my WGBL in. If you could let us know, I'm sure all of us would be very appreciative! Brother Caleb
According to the most recent AoD thread, [DttD] Finals I hope that everyone enjoyed this little Duel to the Death as much as I did. It was a little diversion to have a little fun, spark a little bit of competition, and have a little bit of friendly shenanigans. The mods do an immense amount of work here at the B&C, and their efforts are central to keeping the site a great place for hobbyists to relax and grow within the hobby. While we don’t always say, “thank you”, we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the mods’ efforts. This Arena of Death was just a small way of thanking the mods for their dedication. A number of members have expressed interest in participating in the next Arena of Death. We’re working on having one soon. We’ll keep everyone posted. The next one will be for the rest of the members of the Bolter & Chainsword. While the mods do a lot of hard work that often goes unrecognized, the site wouldn’t be anything without the members. So the mods won’t be able to submit characters for the next one. Be on the lookout for updates. Hopefully we’ll have news within the month. So, I'm guessing we'll get more details by the end of July. Coverfire
I would have thought Saga of the Bear would be a must? What is your points limit? Brother Caleb
I would have thought Saga of the Bear would be a must? What is your points limit? The point limit is 150. Also, SotB is only available for the WL and I can't seem get a good combination of wargear with only 50pts.
