paulson games
I'm working on a marine army that I'll be using BA rules for, but want to shake up the solid red paint scheme a bit. So I figured I'd create a sucessor chapter which I'll be calling the blood ravens or some random name. Before I set to work on painting I decided to play around on the painter program and came up with these two variations. Thought I'd poll you guys and see which gets a stronger reaction. Red Fury
You do know that the Blood Ravens are already an existing chapter right? http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Blood_Ravens That aside, I like pattern A more. But on the table it may look like an army or priests/apothecaries... -Fury
Jakobus
I think I like #2 better. How do you intend paint your Priests And isn't there an existing canon chapter from the DoW series using that name?Blood Ravens who a specifically not linked to the BA. Not trying to be a pain but people would point that out
paulson games
Ah didn't realize there was already an exsisting chapter with that name, I'm not much of a fluff fan and didn't see anything in the codex marine or BA codex. I'll probably come up with another name, whole point is to work up an alternate paint scheme anyway fluff doesn't matter IMO. Priest and chaplains will probably have a red and black pattern to make them stand out against the troops.

Raven1
I like no. 2, it looks an awful lot like the Knights of Blood http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Knights_of_Blood_(Chapter) The loyalist chapter before they went renegade or whatever
