Choices, choices (675 pts to play with)

in a 2500pt campaign list I keep going back and forth on this question.

 

14 BC/pf + WG/pf/combie-melta + WP/RuneArmor/MB + LRC/m-melta

 

or:

 

2 squads of 9 GH (fully kited except for MotW) each with a WG/pf/cm and a Rhino

AND a Dreadnought/m-melta/h-flamer in a drop pod with DW missile launcher.

 

 

 

I've kinda decided on option 2 due to the versatility and objective claiming ability, and I already have one mega CC unit: 7 WG-TDA + Ragnar + LRC.

 

I've just never ran the big BC squad with all the trimmings charging out of a LR.

 

 

Gimmi you reasons if you like, but please tell my indecisive Arse which you would choose...

Well, for me it's simple - choice one gives You +1 Troops, choice 2 = +2 Troops. More troops = better ;) If You wanna play with BC, try swapping them for that other squad and attach them to Ragnar :) Also the first choice somehow impedes Your HS FOC, doesn't it? The first LRC comes as the WG dedicated transport, so the second one is going to come from the HS choices, am I right?

I suppose I should have mentioned that Logan is also in the list (actually it's Logan, Ragnar and Njal), so troop choices are not a problem. I only have one LF squad so there's room for the second LRC anyway.
