SquirrelPredator
Hey guys. So I'm starting to assemble a Chaos Space Marine army that my brother gave me. He had a bunch of bikers, but I wasn't digging their looks so I disassembled them and combined them with some Chaos Marauder Horsemen to give my army a more barbarian look. I've got all the hand weapons and bolt pistols taken care of. But I'm not sure how to model the twin-linked bolters for WYSIWYG. My idea was to have two regular CSM bolters (I have a ton of spares because I just won a painting competition and got a free box set of CSM) attached to the right side of the horse, with wires connecting these to an ammo box made out of plasticard on the rear of the horse, kind of like a feed. But if anyone has any better, more creative, or easier ideas, I'd appreciate the help. Zeller
Horse with a saddle that has a chair on the left and right side of the horses ribs, not on its back. You could have the driver on the left with some kind of hard-wired control and a gunner with a chaos tank TL-bolter on the right kind of like a loyalist attack bike gunner. If you want it easier you could just have one chaos marine riding it with some kind of predator-esque TL-bolter system over his shoulder. Maybe cut off on of the backpack's arms. Or you could have a bolter on each backpack arm as opposed to those ball vents. You could move the ball vent lower somewhere. Or if you were to get a hold of some blood angel angelus bolt guns you could chaosify the bolt gun or replace it with a chaos one. You'd have to make your own right arm with the same concept but how cool would it be to have a chaos marine on horseback with two wrist mounted bolters? Or if there were a way to replicate Abaddon's TL-bolter. It's a decent size without being huge. maverike_prime
not sure how much it'll help but I'm doing a unit of LKhorne Bikers riding Juggernaughts. The second one i built had the bolters mounted on the shoulders, Like so: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a316/maverike_prime/Warhammer/02-01.jpg While the first one I built I had the bolters mounted on the head around the jaw like so: http://mgc-projects.info/Web_pages/people/Maverike_prime/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/01-02.jpg If you come with any ideas please toss 'em up on the boards.
