Actually, why doesnt everyone make a true scale marine? Would be cool to see. I have True Scaled my captain and am proceeding onto squad 2. Both will have 5 men each, hopefully ending up with: Captain, Librarian, Techmarine, Tac sqd 1 w/ flamer, Tac sqd 2 w/ Plasma. Ill have pics soon. And theyre about to have their first proper game tommorow. Its 1k pts and Im using: Cap w/ twin LCs and Plaspistol 5 men w/ flamer in Razor w/ Ex armour 5 men w/ plasmagun in Razor w/ Ex armour Typhoon Speeder LR w/ Ex armour Las Pred w/ Ex armour All with the DA dex :P Wish me luck! And the gold could maybe use some really watered down coats of gold on top, just to get rid of the few brush strokes. Kooked these up tonight guys. A little more detail on the chest would be nice (the hardest part I admit) and maybd a little cleaning up the edges with a knife, but they look ready for paint! Now I can start gluing the arms/heads/backpacks and add the last GS-detail (as you said, Firenze) and then they are gonna get painted. Just need to get the right paints as well. And btw, do you think the "polearms" fit with the AL style? I like them a lot, but keep thinking that it is not really AL. Firenze Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 They work well actually, much better than my attempt at a Nemesis force weapon :( I prefer to use Boltguns (mine are Tactical marines) so I dont have much experience in doing it, but they remind me of a Gladius with a long handle.
