ArmouredWing
I don't know, I take a couple of weeks out travelling to parts far flung and GW goes and releases the =][= codecies. I tell you it's like they did it on purpose!!! Anyway, having looked at the codex stuff it all seems pretty down to earth, not much for contention apart from the allies rules that doesn't affect me anyway...but there's something that does slightly concern me from looking at the ToS rules pack also recently released for the forthcoming campaign season. Ok, there's a little piece of info in the 40K section that states you can use a force "1500pts chosen from any army list in an in-print (bold case mine) warhammer 40K codex". It then states that all 'in print' army lists can be found on GW website. Now this might just be me getting a little jumpy but does 'in print' also include PDF or does it exclude the 2 'hunters codecies because they aren't in print at the moment? I ask the question just in case someone has already chased this one up and got a proper answer because if my worst fears are realised it would mean I'm not going to be able to enter this year! YIKES! Anyway, glad to be back in the cut and thrust so to speak... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205725-tos-the-inquisition/ Share on other sites
Uncle Mel
Good find, and I understand the fact you were startled, though GW themselves said the printed codex is not redundant and still viable so you should be good to go. I do recommend contacting the TO though... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205725-tos-the-inquisition/#findComment-2454078 Share on other sites
Iron-Daemon Forge
You might be better e-mail the GW event team, as last thing you want to do is turn up to a event & find out your chosen army might not be allowed or they where but you spent time getting another army done in fear it might not have been allowed. ArmouredWing
Nice one IP. I think the interesting thing here is that GW have determined that allies are not allowed for the ToS, so that's possibly going to throw a spanner in the works for some. I'm a happy camper though, as long as it stands until (or if!) we finally get a new dex.
