Karsus
Well, unlike the C:SM Chaplain Special Rule, Wolf Priest's "Oath of War" power states that He and any squad he joins have the Preferred Enemy rule against the enemy of chosen type. Is that mean that the squad I made my WP to join can re-role To Hit roll at both close and ranged combat, and even when they get assaulted while attacking the enemy of chosen type? If that's true, I might put WF with Long Fang squad.... Hfran Morkai
Preferred enemy only applies to close combat attacks, so no rerolling with shooting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205727-oath-of-war-applied-to-both-ranged-and-close-attacks/#findComment-2454092 Share on other sites

jeremy1391
it doesnt apply to shooting but unlike the chaplain u get the reroll even if you get charged =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205727-oath-of-war-applied-to-both-ranged-and-close-attacks/#findComment-2454171 Share on other sites
stinkenheim
Prefered enemy is only for close combat attacks as has been said. It is, imo anyway, better than the standard chaplain's ability as it is re-rolls in every round of combat not just the one where you charged... assuming your fighing your chosen type that is...
