Resized
I haven't painted anything for what feels like years (in actuality probably about a year to 18 months) but after a recent burst of inspiration I went digging in my GW boxes and 20 mins later I had an army almost entirely made up of terminators. I have been grabbing a few hours here and there to paint for the last three days and have two nearly finished terminators to show for it, I just need to go buy some bleached bone and some chaos black (neither of which were in my local store when I went first time, boo) so I can finish them off. Any C&C would be greatfully received, as I said I have not painted in a fair while and am a bit rusty. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/Rift155/thisone1.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/Rift155/thisonetoo1.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/Rift155/lastbutnotleast1.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/Rift155/andthisone1.jpg With the extra paints I will be able to clear up the black areas and finish off the ropes and parchment bits. greendestiny
Looks like you haven't lost the painting touch. I do the painting break every now and then too. antilles13
Those terminators look awesome :) I look forward to seeing them when you've put the finishing touches to them. Coincidentally I'm also painting some Blood Angels Terminators at the moment, got about 20 to do and have finished 2 so far with another three half done, though they're not up to your standards. The only suggestions I would make are to maybe put some sort of design on the little shoulder guard shield as I feel it looks a little plain without, and to perhaps consider drilling out the barrels on the storm bolter if you have an appropriate drill. Resized
Thanks for the kind words both. Ah good call on drilling out the storm bolters, I had forgotten about doing that. When I get some more time I will go scrabbling to see if I can find my drill sets. :) Not sure what sort of shield design I could do, I will have a ponder over that and get back to you on that one. I have 16 more terminators to go after this and two dreads, under 2nd edition rules thats about 2k points. Thanks for the input, its great to get some feed back. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205756-blood-angel-terminator-force/#findComment-2454431 Share on other sites
Grimm Blade
Looking really good so far!!! What rules are you going to use? Dark Angels/Death Wing, or Space wolves? Resized
Me and my mates still play second edition 40k where you could do stuff like this. The only force organisation was in percentage. Max 50% of your points spent on character, Max 50% on support, Max 25%(I think) on allies, Min 25% on troops. It gives quite a lot of flexibility but is also quite abusable.
