Evilmerlin
Just saw that Chapter House Studios has released a bunch of combi-weapons and they even include magnets for easy magnetising! Pretty decent price for 4 of them and that would really solve my supply problems for combi-weapons on my Wolf Guards. Simo429
I think its easier to do a better looking conversion than buy those, they look cheap and nasty Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205791-combi-weapons/#findComment-2454875 Share on other sites
krewl
The basic idea is great, but this is 5 bucks for one gun... what if you'd need 20 like (ahem) some people I know... Hfran Morkai
I'd rather buy the Commander kits as I intend on doing, good find though if you can stomach them Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205791-combi-weapons/#findComment-2454897 Share on other sites
Hotspur
You can find real GW combi-weapons on the cheap here: Link Not only does the store sell a mass of 40k bitz, but it also carries a bunch of WFB bitz for those of us who like to get parts from that range to wolf up our armies. Cheers! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205791-combi-weapons/#findComment-2455012 Share on other sites
Lord Clinto
For a combi flamer is used a new bolter with an old SM assault squad hand flamer. Step 1 handflamer: cut the tank & pistol grip off, sand smooth. Bolter: cut the gunsight and stripe on top off and sand smooth. Step 2 glue hand flamer to front of bolter & then glue flamer tank on the back, parallel to the bolter's body. I'll see if I can post pics later tonight. Have a combi-melta I'm workin on also. Thunderhawk3015
Rather stick to the GW weapons and just magnetize the hands/cut plastic personally. Cool find but it takes the fun out of converting. Marshal Wilhelm
In the hope that BT get combi weapons wide spread, or when playing count as against my brother, I have made some combi-weapons on Terminator arms. These were inspired by Darkseers blog; SPACE WOLF GREY I chop off the storm bolter. Get a bolter and a plasma pistol ~ or the BA melta pistol or flame pistol (I know that is not their name but I like calling them that ^_^ ) Flatten the joining sides. The guns will be side by side. Cut the handles off. Sand it so this is now flat. If the SB had those cool ammo drums, cut that off and stick it in the place of the usual magazine. Glue together. The back of the guns are together and the Bolter, being longer, sticks out further. Now glue to Terminator arm. Voila! EDIT; for Cain The Hunter  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205791-combi-weapons/#findComment-2455761 Share on other sites
CainTheHunter
Any tips for combi-flamer (for TDA, not PA)? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205791-combi-weapons/#findComment-2455779 Share on other sites
hmk17
a lot of people I have seen use flamer parts with TDA storm bolters. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/205791-combi-weapons/#findComment-2455793 Share on other sites
Hfran Morkai
Any tips for combi-flamer (for TDA, not PA)? As hmk17 said you can just cut the Storm Bolter barrel off, stick a Flamer on one side and a Bolter/Bolt Pistol barrel on the other. Or you could use the Chaos TDA Combi-Weapons, it's what I do but then again I dislike my converting so just de-Chaos the stuff. Iron-Daemon Forge
I think its easier to do a better looking conversion than buy those, they look cheap and nasty Got to agree with you that it be better converting the combi weapon. There so many "how to" step by step on the fourms to be honsty & us being hobbiest will have a great wealth of spare parts or that least friends/gaming group. I loss count of how many Plasma Pistol's I have that can be use for combi weapon that look a bit more bigger than the once show in the orignaly link.
