The proportions... oh my

The arms are very different and it doesn't work. And the chest & abdomen looks too small for the legs and the big arm. Aside from that, the paintjob is pretty awesome :D

Well..it is chaos , proportions don't matter as much :( as for the arms I liked the right arm's style and I could see that it works anyways with the claw.

Could just get the Abbadon figurine and just modify it from there.

The story behind my thought is, the metal mini is too dang small and I am trying to assemble as many things as possible from spare bits toi save some money and this guy came out really well! I already made 15 normal space marines, a crazy techdread , 3 termies and another chaos dude.

Tame excuse :P I really do think better proportions would help. Like arms the same size. You could also reduce the abdomen and that'd work out.

Yeah, you should at least put a shoulderpad on the sword arm so as to make it appear bulkier. It looks kind of "lopsided" at the moment. Also the paint looks a bit thick in places, especially on the claw and you might want to highlight the armor more as the details are kind of indistinct.

That anorexic waist is one of the biggest mistakes GW has ever made. Cringe, cringe, cringe.

As for your model, its not bad, but I think your freehand symbols could use some neatening up. Aside from that, your ammo-feed just doesn't sit right with me. The magazine isn't connected to the chamber... How is it supposed to feed?

That having been said, kudos, and keep it up.

Hot tip: Khorne's favoured weapon is the axe. :P GW's change to swords sickens and disgusts me, and is exactly why I stopped playing Khorne in WHFB.

Adios,

Adios,

Ammo Belt:

Wow, now that I look at it I think "how the hell DOES it work?" Right, I will get to fixing the gun very quickly, got an idea where it could logically go?

Weapon: I was planning on giving him a crazy looking chain axe but I didn't have any, but that's why I magnetized his arms, that way when I do find an Axe I can use it. Thanks for the tips and I will try to clean up the freehand a bit.

Logically the best place would be on the side of the storm bolter, if at all possible, ala Grey Knights. I'd be inclined to put in on the right hand side only because if you're reloading that weapon, the outside edge of a power fist/claw is going to be awkward/difficult/nigh-impossible to reach.... Providing he HAS to reload of course.

Regards,
