Kerrigan's Space Hulk

Recommended Posts

Finally, after having finished more than half of the contents of this amazing game, I made some photo's. Just to tease you, here are a few. Rest will follow after I have sorted all the pics I have taken.

Hope you'll enjoy this thread.

Cheers,

Raphaël (what a coincidence, I have a name equivalent in this game! Too bad there isn't a miniature of him.)

Stellar! I would ask the same question: how do you achieve the lighting effect? It really gives your excellently painted models more of a "cinematic" feel. I can almost see a Space Hulk movie-type atmosphere. (Which makes me think of a Space Hulk movie. Like 'Aliens' but more bad-@$$ and with TDA-wrapped SM's!)

WOW! Those are amazing models and the photography is really well executed as well.

I do have one point of criticism though: compared to the rest of the smooth highlighting you archieved I think the green cloak on sgt. Lorenzo looks fairly rough, and it does not do justice to the rest of the model.

But again, simply stunning models.

Cheers,

perfectionist

The lighting was an experiment, but a very easy one! I had a paper 3D glasses lying around. Held (the green mosty) between the lens and the model. That's all there was to it!

As for the cloak of Lorenzo, remember the picture is magnified many times in comparison to a real eye view of the model.

Thanks guys for your praise.

Stay tuned for part 2, in a few months(?) when all will be finished.
