Chaplain Hiltraud
Just a quick question about the DC. If a marine were to succumb to the black rage whilst the company was in transit/on their homeworld/just chilling :tu: or at any other inopportune moment, would it be possible for the marine/s to be wrestled down and put in stasis (much like Lemartes) untill the next battle were he can shine in all his glory? Or would the marine/s get put down then and there? I'd like to think the chapters SP's would rush to the scene (along with a squad of 1st company) and put the marine/s in stasis. Jakobus
Sure, I see no issue. I would say it was unlikely but no reason it couldn't happen. Most of the fluff bases the onset of the Back Rage at the start of battle / the night before as the Chaplains move around blessing and doing their Pre-battle liturgies of blood stuff, and the BA Chaplains are trained to watch for a certain look, I would assume its a little like reading the marines body language.. these expressions etc. (foaming at the mouth is a dead give away). A battle brother could start falling to the Black Rage during the last battle in a campaign, and like your obligatory zombie bite victim they try and hide the symptoms believing he can fight it off. As for the stasis, if they are in transit they will most likely be on a battle-barge or strike cruiser which should be able to lockdown the battle brother until he can be attended to. Cstriker01
Black Rage is a trademark of the Blood Angels Chapter of space marines not to be utilized by unregistered users. One out of ten Blood Angels may suffer from an acute onset of Black Rage. Such common symptoms include anger, violent mood swings, bashing things with a chainsword and/or thunderhammer, mumbling "the gates of Terra will never fall!" stomach cramps, migraines, strokes, bloody vomit, "evil eye," fearing winged assault marines with axes and nipples, going ape sh1t, dilated pupils, foaming saliva at the mouth, violent diarrhea, multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, screams, and death. Black Rage is not safe for those with preexisting heart, back, or kidney conditions or by those who have suffered strokes. Expectant mothers are advised to keep away from those under the effects of the Black Rage. Please consult your sanguinary priest if Black Rage is right for you. General Ravensong
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery ...Oh if only we could get some of that heavy machinery into their hands... the bolter/ccw debate would end and everyone would agree that heavybolter DC are amazing... but then the LotD would be upset that we stole their stick.
